Fun Run 2015

We have been training hard for the "Fun Run" in Rimu Hub and we're very proud of our results. Just look at that results table!

Taylor couldn't run, so he took photos and created this video on the iPad. Visit his blog and leave him a comment. I think he did a creative job which captured the efforts of many students.

Back in the hub, we reflected on the efforts of ourselves and others. It was wonderful to hear how well our students recognize the PRIDE in others. Here is a video of Hannah interviewing Liske about the Fun Run.

Kiana wanted to write a Moment in Time about her race and share it on her blog. She captured her race in vivid detail. Read about it here and leave a comment!

Camp Kaitawa Favourites by Rimu Moriarty

Here are our reflections from our last day of camp. A huge thank you to Aaron, Caine, Jay, Jay-Bea, Jordan, Mike, Simon and of course Miss Hill for making our camp an amazing experience! We all feel very lucky to have spent a week in one of the most beautiful and fun places in the world.

Tip: make our Slides full screen for optimal viewing experience.

Check out the students' blog posts on Kaitawa on their blogs in the column to the left,

Playing with my friend. Doing well in my swimming sports. Making more friends.
I made it into the hard ball cricket team.
Staying on task because I know what to do and I have been listening.
I thoroughly enjoyed this week I have an awesome teacher.
Getting all my work done.
Swimming and drawing superheroes and Weetbix Tryathlon.
Swimming sports because I participated and finished it.
Swimming because I learnt more skills.
Doing the superhero art because I really love drawing.
There were no lowlights because they were the best 2 weeks ever.
Learning how to learn about how to work my device.
Getting to blog and having fun this week.
I don’t have a lowlight as my week has been awesome.
My highlight of the week was the swimming sports because it was fun and enjoyable.
